Class descriptions

We believe that variety is the spice of life. Practice often + discover new classes + instructors. See our schedule for class times.

Vinyasa Flow

A thoughtful balance of challenge + release. We’ll flow dynamically, weaving a theme into class or progress to a peak pose. Enjoy a well-rounded flow to build your skill + awareness. A basic understanding of poses is helpful but not required. Modifications are provided. Props are encouraged.

Vinyasa Light

Move from one posture to the next without sun salutations. If you’re recovering from an injury, coming back to yoga after a hiatus or want a gentle practice, this flow encourages you to move at your own pace, gradually building your own heat. Accessible to all bodies. Modifications are provided. Props are encouraged.

Vinyasa Flow +

Flow in a faster pace class that integrates creative sequences with playful transitions. Come sweat it out, then surrender to a rewarding savasana. A good understanding of poses is recommended but not required. Modifications are provided. Props are encouraged.

Vinyasa Krama

Krama means ‘succession’. Part flow, part study, we’ll work step by step, learning a particular pose to discover its benefits + celebrate how it feels in our own bodies. While there’s less flow, you will leave feeling focused + challenged. Accessible to all bodies. Modifications are provided. Props are encouraged.

Core Flow

Flow to sequences that strengthen abdominal muscles, the pelvic floor + supporting back muscles. While the core is our focus, we’ll also explore mobility in our hips + stability in our shoulders. Modifications are provided. Props are encouraged.

Rainbow Flow

Let’s flow together with our LGBTQ community! Move intuitively + discover your best self on the mat. Accessible to all bodies. Modifications are provided. props are encouraged. Dress as you like.

Restore

Settle into a non-flowing class that tunes into your nervous system, allowing mental, physical + emotional release to begin. We’ll lead you through a series of postures supported by props — bolsters, straps, blocks, blankets — to ensure deep relaxation. Poses are held longer but without strain or effort. Accessible to all bodies. Modifications are provided. Comfortable, layered attire is recommended.

Yin

Complement an active lifestyle with passive static stretching that works the connective tissues surrounding our joints and our muscles. We’ll hold postures for a longer period, allowing time, gravity and the weight of our own bodies to do the work for us. Accessible to all bodies. Modifications are provided. Comfortable, layered attire is recommended.

Flow + Release

Begin with an energetic flow to awaken your body, draw awareness to your breath + prepare for deep relaxation. We’ll use breath techniques, restorative or yin-like poses to calm our minds + repair our systems. Accessible to all bodies. Modifications are provided. Props are encouraged.

+ Meditate

These classes combine a meditative component, which can include visual meditation, silent meditation, breath techniques (pranayama) or yoga nidra.

Community Classes

Our community classes are held Monday to Saturday at 2:45 pm to 3:45 pm. These classes are on a Pay What You Can model. You can also pay with 5 buttons.
